Went in to add another signature to an account, a simple process of filling a form in and showing ID. Waited 15 minutes in a queue at a reception desk. No tellers available.. The young lady behind the “reception desk” said can’t deal with this here as I don’t know what to do. Rather than further explain the issue which is a very simple transaction decided to leave. The experience made me think, why the scrutiny at a reception desk rather than straight to a teller and why do I bother with this bank.
Atm always broke cant deposit money only day i get off Saturdays i know banks are trying to stop people using cash but it's ridiculous need someone to service atm machines.
I have an old mortgage with Alliance Leicester which was acquired by Santander. I still get monthly paper statements and I called a few times asking to shift to online but Santander which advocates for sustainability said they don't have the system to enable this. How ridiculous. So I will continue to receive monthly paper statements for the next 17 years. How many trees will Santander consume for this? Bad environmental performance.
Staff are amazing but there needs to be more, there are always queues
Long queues.doesnt help you have to go in because long queues on phone because of covid.its over now.always someone wandering asking if you need to be in queue instead of getting behind counter.stupid!and if you making out you care about covid why have queues of people waiting.oh yes cause you are liars and want less staff on.avoid
