Rude, impatient & unprofessional staff at the reception! My wife has had diabetes for a long time & she was treated contemptuously straight away & not just once, when discussing appointments & callbacks of the GP. They just keep repeating the same sentences that she has to call them back (which is nearly impossible & was not needed anyway, as her medication review was already done in a previous appointment) & that from now on she has to go there every time & personally order her monthly medication… They don’t even try to listen & understand her issues. There’s a generally disgusting behaviour towards you if you’re not English/British, we have had enough of this surgery today and she’s moving to another GP.
Have lost one set of test results. Upon having my second bloodtest they were content to lose that one too, forcing me to chase them down only to find out they've not even been sent for analysis and I'm looking at a 4 week wait. At this point that's a wait of 3-4 months. They also tried to gaslight me into my results being lost, sent already and more. Truly awful example of the terrible management of the NHS.
We're so quick to find fault with services that are stretched through no fault of their own that we often dont see just how much they really do for us. Stuart road doctors and chemist bent over backwards making sure I got my pain meds in the run up to a surgical procedure and straight after the operation. It dident stop me being a grump though ! I got appointments when I needed them and managed to navigate myself onto the patches for same day doctor calls back and prescriptions. Thankyou Caroline Slater
3rd time been cancel appointment by surgery same day when appontment should have been…still waiting since october..
!! The only best ppl are some of the nurses that been there years and couple of the clinicians including Ryan West! He is amazing and a credit to the place! So caring and understanding and really goes to the next level to help! Love Dr West! Thank u for the care and compassion you gave repeatedly when I came. Can’t say much for new receptionists ! Bad attitude and some look like they don’t wanna be there to be there and we are inconveniencing them… the older of the lot of them is nice but the rest the younger ones just not nice
