Luxx Nails Bar

Today was my first time at Luxx and I had a great experience. A drink is offered, it’s clean and the staff were all very happy, friendly and welcoming. I didn’t have a long wait, the service was fast and to a very high standard. More than happy with my nails.

Been going for a while and I'm happy time. You get offered a drink when you sit down, always seem very happy and always happy to accommodate for anything you need, clean environment and very professional. It get really busy very quick so I'm still trying to get the timing right so I'm at least 3rd one in. They try not to keep you waiting long when it is busy and always keep you updated on when you are next but it's worth the wait.

Went in after work at about 3:50, for a last minute decision to treat myself to a set of nails. Didn't think they would have a slot for me as it looked busy, but I was greeted with such a welcoming manner. Offered a seat as I waited, (waited about 2 minutes) and the seats were so comfy, with soft pillows and a lovely environment/atmosphere. The owner walked me over to a seat and did a quick consultation and understood what I was wanting. Kept checking if the shape/length etc was what I wanted. I asked for a natural colour, and he let me look through the different shades! I wasn’t rushed at all, he gave me reassurance that I could take my time, he let me use my phone to text my manager from work back. Overall, he was a lovely guy. Had a nice chat about his business, and my history with other nail salons. I was offered a free drink, (cans of coke, fanta, dr pepper, tea, coffee, water). I have never felt so comfortable to be in a nail salon before. My nails were in such bad shape before I entered, the man cleaned them up, fixed my nail beds, wicks on my cuticles etc. Even had a quick hand massage when he put lotion on my hands. I love this salon, and I will always come back here! He also mentioned if I had any issues with the nails, if they snapped or chipped, that he would fix them for me. 🥰🙂🩷

I was looking for a new nail salon as I’ve moved and thought I would try here because of the good reviews but unfortunately I haven’t had a good experience. The guy who was doing my nails was really rough and cut my cuticles with the drill and now I’m pretty sure they’re infected. All the way through the treatment was painful and the acrylic is too thick that it’s on my skin. Really disappointed, I wouldn’t recommend :(

First visit today absolutely fantastic lovely friendly staff the best by far they have definitely got a new customer thank you xx
