Stunning little park perfect for families and dog walking. This is a dog walking on lead only, because of families and children. Tennis/basketball courts and play area as well as a bowling green. Council are attending to subs and the roses they do a great job always clean and tidy. No toilets or hand washing facilities, but there is a dog grooming place here which is frequented regularly.
An enjoyable park for all ages, great playground, large field area , courts for tennis, basketball ball. A quiet seated area built around trees & flowers, beautiful enclosed gated rose garden ( no dogs in this area) followed by a quaint wooded walk ,lovely for dog walkers, family's, easy access gated for wheelchair users or mobility scooter, there are also tarmac paths around the park . No cafe or toilets , there is a friendly one-stop supermarket/ post office across the road . Sadly, through the woods & mainly back path walk area, the dog toilet is not being picked up. My wheelchair wheels were covered in it with leaves.
quite big park but is sometimes busy
Kids love it but it's a pity that the football/basketball courts are locked. We go each evening after school in the hope they are open so Grandson can play footie.
Not a very big park. Really well maintained. Lots of benches. Big field. Beautiful rose gardens xxx
