A truly underrated reserve & place to spot nature.
Part of the Teesdale Way. There is a small parking area just before Yorkshire Caravans on Todd Point Road. Access to the marsh from here is on a public footpath that is well signposted. The walkways are sometimes on raised wooden platforms above the marshy ground so you can get fairly close to the bullrushes.
Excellent for tranquil settings to sit relax in nature's perfect hideaway, very few people apart for dog walkers n flora n faunaand there's also nature walk taking you all around the reserve on well maintained wooden walkway
