We visited Planet kids Redcar on the 26th November at around 1pm and had a very disappointing experience. The primary issue was that the heating was not on, and the entire venue was freezing cold. This made it incredibly uncomfortable for both my child, me and my partner to the point where it significantly detracted from our ability to enjoy the play session. When we complained and asked for a refund due to the conditions, we were told they could only offer a voucher for a future visit. Given that we live approximately 25 miles away, a voucher is completely impractical and of no value to us, so we refused this offer. The response from the staff, and specifically the manager, was unhelpful and failed to resolve the situation in a satisfactory way. They were unwilling to offer a full or partial refund despite the clearly sub-standard and uncomfortable environment.
Big clean modern play area on sea front wasn't to busy on a Friday dinner time cost £7.50 for 4+ child 1 hour 30 minutes play women said we could stay tho as it wasn't busy. Slush was £4.50 and got a refill like most places nowadays always feel it's abit overpriced.
My grandson birthday today, they were fantastic i have 3 autistic grandchildren non verbal, they couldn't do enough for us, would like to thank the staff especially millie with coping with our special needs xx
Been afew times over the years but just seems to get worse each time. Place is filthy and requires a major clean, dust on the slides and equipment has been there 5 months + from when I large mentioned it to them and the bottom area stinks of urine
The play area is good kids love it but the place and everything it sells is absolute extortion . £2.50 for a fake fruit shoot probably bought a full box for that price 😅
