Fantastic friendly team welcomed me as an owner and organised for me to purchase light lunch in the O&T lounge. We enjoyed the great visuals layout and perfectly placed seating. The Racecourse have definitely gotten this spot on.
Hit the North to the last Yorkshire course. Compact and easy to get round. Free racecard, now there's a first.
Redcar is an excellent racecourse. I attended as an owner and the facilities were very good. Lunch was good and there were plenty of seats for owners and trainers. The viewing area for the track was excellent, providing great views down the track. There were plenty of eating and drinking places at the track and the service was excellent.
Ladies day was amazing 👏 great atmosphere loved seeing all the outfits. Only criticism would be the cost of the drinks expected to pay more than at a bar but £50 for one jug off cocktail was excessive. But overall had an amazing day and will definitely go back.
Despite living here for well over 20 years, we only went to the races for the first time last weekend, on "Ladies day". We went for the grandstand rather than the cheapo tickets. Racing didn't start until 2pm, but we got there just after 12, which meant we had a choice of seats right next to the finish line. There were several bars (£7/pint+), and a selection of (not cheap: £6 for a hotdog) "Street food" vans. I think there was also a restaurant but I dread to think what that cost. Anyway, we had a lovely day in the sun, and put a few (mostly losing) bets on. Lots of people REALLY made an effort and dressed up for the event. A recommended day out. It's not Ascot, but then it's not Ascot prices either.
