We visited Redcar after being told the beaches were good for seaglass. What a lovely suprise! There's so many art installations to see, it's a real visual experience. The beaches were lovely and clean and great for finding fossils. The staff in the Redcar beacon were very friendly and was a lovely view from the top. Hidden gem.
As you can see bearly another soul for as far as the eye can see, dogs had a great run 😊 Best to check the tides to make the most of this lovely, quiet beach.
Nice place in the summer, not much going on at the bandstand, ever. But really nice promenade.
19th September 2020 a lovely sunny day. Lots of places to park about £1.50 for 2 hrs. Walked along the sea front, had fish and chips and Scraps which was delicious 😋 then shared a lemon top ice cream from Pacitto something I've never even heard of before, now I'm dreaming of it🍦😋 Nice place would go back if in the area.
Lovely beach for walking the dogs. Parking charges apply till 6pm if I remember correctly. Obviously check first. Public conveniences are available. There are an abundance of the devil's toenail fossils on this beach if you know what to look for. Have fun
