Greggs

Asked for a bacon roll with brown sauce, hot served a bacon roll with red sauce then brown over the top. Obvs knew they had made a mistake and tried to hide it. Roll went in the bin. Typical slap dash service from this food outlet.

Usually go to Greggs for lunch. There's always plenty to choose from, both hot and cold, healthy and not so healthy. They also serve the best coffee in town. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

The shop is much bigger now and never had a problem until now. Found a real finger nail sitting on one of the packed boxed yum yums. Absolutely disgusting I had to throw them all away. Not sure if they are packed somewhere else but it’s put me off buying cakes from there!

A takeaway with a small eat-in area. Has good displays of sandwiches, wraps etc and a good range hot food in the way of sausage rolls and pasties.They also have an array of small cakes. There is also takeaway coffee.

Queuing much worse than it used to be. No sense of urgency among the serving staff. Even when there's a line of people waiting and just one person serving, the back-office people tend to drift in, hang around aimlessly, and then drift back to the kitchen. As often as not I give up and go to Mocha or Costa instead.
