We visited this wonderful place with our dog, and straight away the proprietors were so kind and helpful (the lady brought our dog a bowl of water before we'd even sat down). The place itself is great - lovely and warm, really cool decor, great music. It's such a beautiful historical building and the owners have really honoured that. And to top it all off, the food was delicious. I highly recommend the feta and caramelised onion pizza, just superb! Thank you for being so welcoming, even when our dog was being awkward.

We stopped here for food late evening on a Saturday night and it was first class. The vibe of the bar being super cosy the owner being super friendly and the food being super good!! The Forge Stout in particular is a delight, it’s hands down better than Guinness or Murphy’s by a country mile! The pizza’s and fries (we had the tiger fries) are delicious and really topped off our experience at this first class establishment. We will 100% be back next time we visit Robin Hoods Bay as it’s simply wonderful! It’s a must if you’re visiting.

Lovely place for a drink, Team are super friendly and a fantastic location. Ended up staying way too long (twice) which just goes to show how nice it is. Pizzas looked amazing but unfortunately we didn't plan on having dinner here but will definitely do next time we're here! Can't wait to come back...

Stopped by the smugglers inn pub today as I had seen it on a YouTube video and the pizza looked good, walked in to be greeted by friendly staff, got our drinks and ordered our pizza and a short while later our pizza was bought out to us. It was one of the best pizza's I've had and my partner agreed it was lovely too! Highly recommend stopping by if you can!!!

After finishing the seven bloody mile walk from Whitby, arriving at Robin Hood’s Bay felt like reaching the end of a hero’s journey. I wandered into the village around twilight (8:30ish), weary but buzzing and when I saw someone with a pizza box, I had to ask where it came from. They pointed me toward Smugglers, and I’m so glad they did. The place had a cozy, inviting vibe, everyone seemed to be ordering pizza, and for good reason. Later that night in my hostel, someone else recommended it too, which just confirmed it’s the go-to food spot in Robin Hood’s Bay. Now, the pizza... honestly, one of the best I’ve ever had. I’ve travelled a fair bit around the world chasing good pizza, so that’s saying something. Incredibly fresh ingredients, perfectly crisp toppings, you could tell they cared about quality. It hit the spot after a long day on foot. The guys working the front were top-notch, super friendly, welcoming, and made me feel right at home. One of those rare places you’d happily travel hours to return to. Just a heads up: last orders are at 9PM, so don’t rock up too late!
