Lovely and a cozy place. We bought scampi and 5OZ stake (requested pink, but received well done, thats is why 3 stars) Scampi was really good, it came with peas (not mushy), chips (thin ones and not sure they are fried in beef dripping) and tartar. Stake was average, but fresh. Ordered a small bacon ceasar salad (it was the first time i had a ceasar salad with baby spinach😂😂 bacon dust was on top - not sure it supposed to be like that) Local Lager was good. Service was really energetic and top notch. Very Clean toilet.
We were recommended Brambles Bistro by our hosts at North Ings Guest house (Another 5star rating for North Ings guesthouse) So glad we took the advice, Brambles Bistro is small but serves amazing food and has a lovely quaint atmosphere, the lady who was running the show when we went there, 2 days in a row...... it was that delicious 😋 - was very friendly and lovely to talk too. We would definitely recommend this place for food *****
A fabulous evening. This was our second time here (last time May 2023) while holidaying in the area. This visit was for my birthday. From the moment we walked in the staff were just lovely and we had a laugh with them too which we love. We both had the sharing special board of Nachos, Château Briand, a lovely bottle of Rosé wine, and some cheesecake shared. Absolutely delicious! The staff sang happy birthday to me as well which topped the night. Thank you guys, we will be back next time we are in the area.
Lovely little restaurant in the heart of a very pretty village, we didn’t book but they squeezed us in and we had the T bone steak and it was one of the best steaks we have ever eaten, very good portion sizes too. The meal was super tasty and literally melted in your mouth. Really reasonable price too, we would have happily paid more for the service and quality of food we received. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We spent most of the evening in there, we didn’t want to leave.
Having a meal in Brambles Bistro is one of the best experience I had when visiting the Durham moor coast. Since I didn't feel eating something fancy, I ordered the good'ole fish'n chips and it came out to be one of the best fish I had throughout my whole journey. Also the interior designs fit the bay vibe so well and the staffs are extremely nice. (Shh 🤫 Don't tell them but I think the staffs are all so cute (/// 0 w 0///))
