Very friendly and helpful staff in both the Post office and the shop. Great assistance whilst trying to send a parcel abroad, very happy with the service received. The shop itself has a great array of products and has free and easy parking on site. It is well worth a visit!
I really don't understand why the lady who works at this shop is just so rude. You speak to her kindly and she speaks to you like your her worst enemy. It just makes every visit uncomfortable and depressing. You leave thinking "what did I do? What did I say to deserve that?!". I've given two stars because the shop does sell some lovely things and does provide helpful information in the window displays but it's just such a shame the service is so unpleasant.
Typical small store offers the essential items and also has a Post Office counter where you can draw cash out. Yes it's fairly expensive but that's what you expect with limited places elsewhere to buy from.
Handy small shop in the area, it does seem rather expensive though, even for a shop of tjis type. Five pound minimum on card payments - I think shops just need to accept that card is the norm nowadays
Breakfast sandwiches are very good, also stock Fords pork pies which are fantastic.
