The swimming pool here is very clean and well looked after, and the wellness area is excellent – both the dry and wet saunas as well as the jacuzzi are in great condition and make the visit relaxing. On the other hand, the gym itself is disappointing. A lot of the machines are outdated, some are broken, and there’s a real lack of even the most basic equipment you’d expect in a modern gym. Some of the machines could be used in museums of 20th-century fitness equipment, really. Also I can say that, he male changing room is in acceptable condition. For the monthly price over £40 you could expect definitely something better. Overall, this place is perfect if you’re mainly coming for the pool and saunas, but if your main focus is gym training, it may not meet your expectations.

Moved to Chapeltown in April and found it really hard to find a gym that catered to everything I worked on. Until I found this gem right on the edge of Rotherham. The staff upon my initial visit were so lovely, they walked me round without even giving it a second thought. And since joining I get greeted upon visiting and leaving and that to me is just 10/10 loveliness. The gym since I’ve joined is already being improved, they’ve added new machines, their steam room and sauna swimming has all been updated, and recently they have been doing work on the ladies section which I’ve not yet had the privilege of seeing. Which shows they have initiative in keeping the gym up to date. The classes are all great and easy to book on to, again all the staff in the classes are lovely and the gentlemen that are walking round the gym sometimes if they ever see me struggling will always come to my rescue. I love this gym and even though their hours are amazing; they don’t quite fit into my life style so I have recently also had to join a 24 hour gym as well- as but I would never choose to cancel my membership here because I just love it so much. I would only go to the other gym if I had to after these guys hours. Their pricing is so reasonable too, especially considering it includes gym, classes and access to the sauna, swimming etc

The changing room at Healt Spa Centre was a major disappointment. It was quite dirty and lacked basic necessities you’d expect in a toilet or shower area. Even worse, the hair dryer was old, rusty, dirty, and barely functional. It’s no wonder most women were leaving with wet hair, as using the dryer felt unhygienic and ineffective. For the price—especially given recent increases—this level of maintenance is unacceptable. The facility needs serious improvements in the both ladies and gentlemen changing rooms.

I really like this health club plenty off machines to use. Pool jacuzzi sauna steam room even somewhere to chill and have a bite to eat. Price is a little high for my liking but still not many gyms have the facilities 😁

There is so many things you can improve. First of all - sauna’s; no PROPER rules how to use it, people coming in with wet swim suits, flip-flops on, not using towels on wooden benches, plastic bottles on the floor and dust everywhere. If you want sauna experience, don’t bother coming. Swimming pool clean, lockers with CODE-Lock system, hairdryers working properly, free and easy parking on top of the building, toilets disgusting, gym a bit oldish. £15 one time entry SUANA’s 0/5 POOL 4/5 GYM 2/5
