We went to see The story of Simon and Garfunkel and had a lovely evening. This was the first time we had been to this theatre. My only negative is there wasn't much leg room in the seats and I'm not particularly tall at 5'7". Apart from that we enjoy it and will go again.
A lovely theatre and excellent community resource. I recently saw Blackadder III and it was really enjoyable, friendly front of house staff, a cafe and bar. I would highly recommend an evening here, with show of your liking.
This is a gem. The Theatre is welcoming, staff go above and beyond to help and the cast and backstage crew create a performance that was both very enjoyable and engaging. Parking is almost opposite the Theatre, it can fill but other parking is close. Finally, we saw the morning performance pantomine, and everyone in our group, from 2 to 65, had a fantastic time..oh yes we did!
This year I went twice to the same panto!! Snow White & the 7 Dwarfs. It was so good the 1st time that I booked to take my Son, Daughter inlaw & 2 grandsons. Non of us grown-ups have laughed so much. I highly recommend the panto season at Rotherham Civic Theatre.
What a lovely theatre! Had the pleasure of working there, so friendly and a hidden gem of a venue.
