Decent enough little park, that tries to achieve an awful lot in a small space. Can imagine it can get awfully busy, and would feel very cramped. Big stair set feels a little out of place, and probably not usable for the majority of users. Little stair set is decent enough with a good little rail going through the middle. Nice idea with the step down manual pads with a euro gap at the end but feels a bit high for most. A few of the ledges off to the side feel way too big for this bit of the park. Nice ledges at the lower end of the park with a kicker and pole jam in between. Overall, it's ok, but it feels like it's not quite sure who it's aimed at. Worth a look, but not a destination park. Surrounding country park is fantastic however.
Nice little plaza if you like your street techy tricks. Lots of different rails ledges and boxes to grind but too many are square edged, should've had more round coping, especially the rails on the stairs. The tocco wave quarter at the end of the park is the best thing there by far, nice and wide with a good transition for the size. Can't wait to grind the full thing up across and down. There's a nice curved ledge to play around on. You can tell this has been designed by a skateboarder for skateboarders with no consideration for other wheeled sports. Everything is very low, too short and just too small in general. This place will not challenge anyone other than beginner to moderate skilled boarders but it's great to hone your skills and try new stuff out.
If ya children want to learn to skate then ide suggest paying to go to an indoor one in the day or weekends as there's a lot of overspill from play area, ie toddlers/ parents wondering around on the ramps so the kids wanting to learn don't get any room to, still decent tho for a free park though,
Would be a good little spot but the locals seam to think it's a good spot the take the little ones to play tag. So expect to run a few people over
Great place to take the kids. Lots of space with plenty to do for everyone. Clean and easy to find.
