A fantastic old house, loaded with charm. The rooms are simple and clean, our room had only a shower, I'm not sure if baths are available in others. There is a snug bar, which is quite snug, the breakfast room is roomy and well appointed. We only saw one member of staff, and she was rather lovely. No explaining where our room was, she took us up and explained everything to us. I would definitely stay there again.

My partner and I visited back in March and we had a lovely stay! The room was beautiful and the hosts were so lovely welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was freshly cooked by them and it was delicious and they also gave us some lovely recommendations for restaurants as well as some lovely walks in the area. We will definitely be back!

Stayed here for a surprise night away to visit whitby. Absolutely beautiful building, lovely clean room. Had everything we needed, the double shower was a very nice addition. Continental breakfast in the morning was lovely, arranged nice and the area perfectly clean. Hosts were very friendly and happy to chat. Will definitely return here again, hopefully soon.

Beautiful building, amazing inside. Room was fantastic with a bed so comfy I could have stayed in it all day. You can walk into Whitby or catch the train. The walk requires sturdy footwear. Would definitely go back.

Highly recommend. The room we stayed in was almost like a 5 star hotel room that only missed a fridge/minibar. But they had a kind of an executive lounge or honesty bar downstairs where you helped yourself and signed for whatever you used. The staff were super friendly. If I do ever come back to Whitby I will only stay here. (Gotta be honest that Whitby felt like a Whetherspoons on a Friday night and not really super attractive) Oh the reason we chose the hotel was that they have their own private carpark.
