Absolutely splendid place to spend an afternoon / evening / night. A good choice of ales and craft beers. The staff are super friendly. Plenty of cosy areas to sit and there’s an upstairs room to sit or hire for events. The decor is unique, the owner has spent some time painting song lyrics and the science behind brewing over the walls and it’s fun to hear different people trying to place the since lyrics with the song and interesting to learn what goes into making your beers. 10/10 would recommend and it’s a place I’ll visit every time I come to Selby.
It is a craft ale pub, I realise this, but every time we go in it has always run out of the only lager you serve. Please sort this out, we really enjoy the atmosphere and coming here, but lager is the only thing my husband drinks so we end up going elsewhere.
Great beers and atmosphere, is there anything else? Four minutes from the train station too.
In a previous life this place was a fabulous little bar, it looks the same but it doesn't feel the same anymore....ok for a quick drink no more than that
