Started off really well. Poppadoms and the 7 different chutneys, delicious. Next the liver tikka, never had liver like this b4, perfect. Then came the mains, special tandoori balti and the lamb shank. (Nihara) First to complain was my friend who said the lamb had been boiled far too long and was pretty tasteless. I had the balti. Served in a stainless turene and deposited on a very cold table. I asked for a plate warmer. Can't have one, not allowed I was told. My plate was also cold so very quickly the whole dish was cooling fast. Next, the dish was salty, I complained, only to again brushed off by the waiting staff. Not a smile from him all evening and he hated constructive criticism. The devil is in the detail Mr. Ginna. You are charging premium prices for average food. Get it sorted. Total bill Β£85.95 for 2 people with 2 drinks. Didn't even offer us a shot when we finished. All in all a disappointing experience.

Visited here a couple of weeks ago with my boyfriend who's not had a 'proper' curry before. We loved it and I decided to take my dad again tonight. The food is really good and the staff are super friendly and attentive. It's really pretty inside, too. Will definitely be our go-to curry place from now on. Fab!
