Brilliant service from Lewis. Brand new car secured at a great price, fair part exchange evaluation for my previous car. Only 2 weeks from the first visit to the showroom to collecting the new car. All round great service and highly recommend.

I have had various problems with my car from the outset of purchasing it from this dealership. One of the problems was the heated steering wheel. I have taken it back countless times just to be advised that it is working OK. It only got tepid at the best in minus conditions in the winter. A techician came from another Vauxhall garage for a temporary time, and he diagnosed that the steering wheel was faulty and that it needed to be replaced. However, when he returned to his dealership, Walkers of Selby reverted to nothing being wrong with the steering wheel. When I came into the dealership to speak with the Service Manager, I gave him a scenario of if the coffee machine was producing only cold or tepid coffee, what would you do with it? Would you replace it, or repair it? This obviously angered him as he advised that if I did not leave that he would call the Police. As I had done nothing wrong, I said call them. The actions of him then amazed me, as I have never been spoken to by anyone like this before in a dealership, as he stood up quickly, waving his hands around and shouting profanities. IT is only by sheer chance that no customers were present at the time (only staff in the showroom). I contacted the CEO of Walkers of Selby by email and also spoke to them today leaving a message for him to get back to me. I have given him 7 working days for a response but he has failed to respond to me by either email or on my mobile. Other faults from initial purchase was that the DAB radio was not working and that a part was needed for this, which took a considerable time to source and fit. To this day, the tyre sensors do not show the correct reading on the dashboard, even though I have checked them. There was a clunking noise from my car on full lock when I reversed. A lady on the service desk told me sarcastically that I was going over speed bumps too fast! A suspension mount was needed and that they would order this on the spoticar warranty. When I took my car in, they replaced the mount. HOWEVER, IN DOING SO THEY SCRATCHED MY FRONT WING DOWN TO THE UNDERCOAT. No-one had advised me of this and luckily I noticed this before I left the dealership. I went straight back in and they agreed that they DID the damage and they agreed to pay to respray the car wing. The sales manager was supposed to finding me a new car, due to me complaining about all these problems. I'm still waiting. This is the WORST dealership that I have ever been to. Staff who think it is OK to swear at customers, no response to complaints and it is clear in my experience that they obviously do not check their vehicles before they put them on their forecourt, as if they did they would have rectified all the problems with mine before I purchased my Vauxhall Corsa. This has been a steep learning curve for me as I am paying monthly payments for a vehicle with problems that they can't and won't resolve. I will never buy another vehicle from Walkers of Selby ever again.

The service provided has been 100% from finding our new car on line and speaking with Rob who provides a detailed appraisal of the car and the service Walkers provide. We purchased the car and arranged with Rob delivery which was very competitive. Car was delivered on time and was really really pleased with it. Many thanks Walkers and your team. (Updated) I emailed over a week ago requesting a new service book as I've filled mine now. I had no response whatsoever, which is a shame, as I know family and friends who have been here before and had a good experience. I am quite upset by this. 😔 I sent the request in on the website on the parts section. Maybe this service on the website isn't currently working.
