I'm not a drinker not did I eat here but I was a damsel indestress I had been on a day trip to York and found myself stranded with a dead phone battery so nipped in bar 13 and asked for assistance. The lovely gentleman behind the bar was very helpful called us a taxi and made sure we were ok. Honestly thank you from the bottom of my heart we now know for next time to carry battery packs πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯° ( from the stranded tourist who should have known better)

Cracking micro-bar between the railway station and the town centre. Three cask ales on - I plumped for Moorhouses Moonbeam - a classic IPA - went down far too quickly. Great service from the bar staff - I was given a chilled pint of water having walked 10 miles to get here. Much obliged πŸ‘πŸ»

A small, single narrow long room with the bar on the left hand size. Can be crowded at times due to its size and popularity. But an extensive collection of wines and spirits. There are 3 real ales on offer. A clean and tidy micro pub in the centre of Settle.

We were on a coach trip to Appleby. Then a train ride to Settle over the Ribblehead Viaduct which was lovely. Got to Settle with an hour to pass and found this wonderful pub. The owner was so friendly and the cask beers which I am particularly fond of were sourced locally and were in perfect condition. Wish we could have stayed longer but if we make it back this place will be where we go. If you are in Settle and like good cask beer at its best in a friendly atmosphere this place is a must. Loved it, John and Theresa.
