Was staying nearby so stopped off early Saturday. Charging rate not bad, used the geniepoint app. £0.83 per kwh price at the time.
Very positive experience for me. Sitting here on charge now. No need to download anything. Pulled up plugged in using the tethered CCS cable, scanned my card from my phone and away it went. 3 tethered cables AC, CCS & CHAdeMO.
Most frustrating charger I have ever used. Jumped through more hoops than I ever have before, signing up to email, adding cards, authorising email address, adding phone number. Etc. Charged me 3 x £25 on 3 different cards, and still didn't manage to successfully connect to it. Now having to raise and manage 3 chargebacks, and battery still flat. Pretty sure I got caught speeding on the way back out of rage too. Thanks Fuel Genie.
An unexpected find, had to download the app but once done , charged happily
It's in the far corner of the car park, somewhat lonely charger. Unfortunately the rain meant my picture was in-car. The nearby cafe is decent, but because the charger doesn't support simple contactless payment it's a two star from me.
