I ordered a book from this lovely little shop and went in to pick it up. It’s now run by Ben and Becky, Becky was there when I collected my book, and she was really lovely, making the whole experience so easy and welcoming. You can tell they both care about keeping the shop friendly and full of great reads. I’m really enjoying my new book!

The day I visited was the last day under the former owner who was retiring to enjoy a well earned rest. The shop itself is lovely and is part of a charming row of businesses in the market square. The is a good selection of books of all genres and I came away with only a small haul because it was the first day of our visit to Yorkshire and I was anxious to explore. I shall be visiting Settle again and will definitely be revisiting this splendid independent bookshop.
