Basically an extended Edinburgh Woolen Mill with ladies & gents clothes, outdoor wear, some kitchen-wares and a cafe. Some bargains to be had. Cafe was good with basic fayre on offer though, based on my visit, food may take a while to order & arrive at your table (and it was very quiet when visited). That said, thankfully we weren't going anywhere else. There is a disabled/accessible toilet here too. Larger car park to rear of building with better parkjng & access for wheelchair users.
Signage on the roadside 2/3 miles before said Watershed Mill and Craft Centre. Its actually more and Outlet Centre as there were no actually no craft things for sale. Lots of clothes - many at sale prices between £3 & £6 so lots of bargains to hr had. Coffee shop was excellent. Lots of Bacon on the Bacon Bap at only £3.50 and large Amercano Coffee for 3.00
I've only recently discovered Watershed Mill, despite having driven past it numerous times over the years. A good cafe and excellent range now has it firmly on my radar for the future. Try a visit, I don't think you will be disappointed.
The two stars are for the exterior which looks quite inviting. However inside this is like someone has inherited a warehouse and wasn't sure what to do with it. Filled with low quality random items, no atmosphere and random items from candles priced as though they are Yankee Candles but aren't, plastic toys (to be fair I do appreciate a good sea creature plastic selection) , jigsaws, scarves and a clothing selection for Saga members or those aged over 75 only. There's a coffee shop I was going to try but didn't because I took one look and it was just another space that had been filled with random tables, no effort to make it inviting and little thought into design other than creating a functional cafe. It's not a disaster it's just not good.
Always go there for my inlaws clothes, plenty of choice and some lovely clothes for them. I even found a few jumpers for myself and I am in my 40s. Can't understand the bad reviews if it's not to your taste then shop elsewhere, simples! Don't leave nasty reviews We have always been to the cafe and find all the staff polite. Keep up the good work!
