Sadly, not one of the more interesting to look at memorials you'll ever find. Built to commemorate the First World War (1914-1918), Second World War (1939-1945), Afghanistan (2001-2014). There are two memorial plaques on the south side. One for WW1 and WW2, and the other for Afghanistan. Thirty service men are remembered and their names inscribed on the plaques. Sadly I couldn't find any information as to when the bridge was built. There is a nice riverside walk here.
