A small park, but has lots in the play area for all ages, and has some fitness equipment. At the back of the park is a small stream, would be great if it was made easier to access as it would be wonderful to sit by with a picnic and I'm sure it would be popular with families to paddle and explore. But for now there is a small area on the right as you look onto the park from the road, through a small gap in the bushes. Great if you have a couple of hours to fill.
Excellent park. I think what a number of people don’t realise is that this park is looked after by local residents, cleaning it, watering the gardens, investing in equipment, etc…. Greatly appreciate the work of these people despite some people causing regular damage
Brilliant village park maintained by volunteers. Separate baby/toddler playground as well as children’s playground. Multi-sport enclosed court with basketball hoops. Outdoor circuit training. Large grassed area with football posts. Good for scooter and bike training.
I visited South Milford Park with my wife and 2 grandchildren, Ivy and George, both 2 year old. We had a really great time. The grandchildren went on the swings, see-saw, slides and the rocking horse, they had a fantastic time. The park was clean and tidy, it's very well kept. Certainly recommend it to anyone. Colin R. Great little park with a few facilities for football, tennis and basketball. Decent children's play areas. But it doesn't allow dogs so it only gets 4 stars
