Warning this place operates a car parking racket where if you don't enter you car registration into the terminal you get a parking ticket of £100. My appeal was rejected despite me having a till receipt proving I was in the shop at the time. It is disgusting that a supposedly charity chooses to penalise its supporters in this way, bringing the whole Salvation army into disrepute. My partner and I will certainly never shop at or donate to this charity ever again.

Horrible place operating a car park scam. We were fined despite shopping in the store and having a receipt to prove it. The woman came out after we had left gleefully telling us we would be fined. I have cancelled my donations to the salvation army to pay for the fine and wont be shopping there again despite doing so for years.

Me and my partner have been coming here for a long time as we're collectors of a sort, I've seen the old books on a back shelf for months and have been patiently waiting for them to be sorted. After the recent renovation we were pleasantly looking forward to browsing the shop, I saw around 30 of the old books on a shelf I starting looking through them and was shouted at by a staff member across the shop stating they aren't for sale, considering the shop was very busy I was made to feel very small. We've probably spent thousands in this shop but that one staff member made me feel that shit that I won't be coming back. Don't put things out on a shelf if they're not for sale. Short grey hair. Woman. I'd get rid. You've lost a customer today. Very rude.

Got a parking ticket while shopping their from their own car park. Absolute joke. They only sell the rubbish stuff in the shop they can't be bothered putting on eBay anyway.

I’ve just visited the store and I asked for an item to be reduced and the lady at the till was extremely rude and gave nasty looks. She was a lady with short grey hair. Maybe she did this because I was wearing a scarf and was stereotyping me. She was behaving as tho she was working in an expensive store like Harrods and judging me but it is just a charity shop.
