We had an excellent stay with Anne in her lovely b+b. Rooms are of a good size and spotless. Breakfast was excellent too. I dropped 1 star because of the walk back up the hill which some might find a problem. Totally recommended for a lovely warm Yorkshire welcome close to town.
We stayed with Anne for one night for a family members surprise birthday party. It’s a great location just a short walk from the bustling town centre. The rooms are large and comfortable with sparkling clean bathrooms. Anne’s Yorkshire breakfast spread was wonderful and delicious; high quality produce and products and all the condiments you can imagine, many of which are locally sourced and produced. A very welcoming and hospitable host.
Having travelled from Coventry we were warmly welcomed by Anne who showed us to our good sized room overlooking the beautiful back garden. Both bedroom and bathroom were excellent and spotless. The sherry was a nice touch and a small taste at the end of the day was essential!! The fresh fruit provided with breakfast was really tasty as was the full English breakfast using local suppliers. We will definitely be returning to the b&b to see more of the amazing countryside. Ann and Steve
Another great stay at Anne's, she always makes us welcome the room was lovely and the breakfast was the best. We will be back in November and again in June 2026.
Had a lovely weekend. Anne was an excellent host and very attentive, lovely comfy bed and superb breakfast. Would highly recommend it and would definitely come back again. Les & Carol - Southport.
