Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care

I visited Scrivens Thirsk for the first time this month and my experience was great. The ladies there were so lovely and full of knowledge. The frame choice was fabulous and I was given lots of help and support to choose what would be right for me. I ordered a pair of glasses and was advised they would be about a week, they arrived within 3 days. I will definitely be returning to the Thirsk branch and will recommend to friends and family. 5 star experience.

I can’t praise Scrivens enough for the fantastic service I received. They are absolutely friendly helpful and give you a warm welcome. If you need glasses or hearing these people are the best in Thirsk. Highly recommend.

I called in to my local Thirsk branch as my prescription sunglasses had broken,(I didn’t have an appointment) but Clare was very helpful and knowledgeable .she helped me pick a new pair of glasses and even came up with the idea of reactor light lenses which worked a lot better for me in a day to day use. My glasses came when I was told they would. I found all the staff very helpful and friendly would definitely recommend them to anyone.

My first time at Scrivens and certainly the best experience I've had at an opticians. The eye exam was very thorough, the staff were a credit to their jobs and the choice of glasses were good too. I only wished I'd gone here years earlier.

What a wonderful service. Just before going away one of the arms of my glasses broke off. I really didn't think anything could be done but they were repaired straight away whilst I waited. The staff are incredibly patient and so pleasant and helpful.
