Lovely stay, I was working rather than holidaying but would love to stay on holiday. Jackie and Chris were so helpful with changing times of breakfast, giving advice on the local area and meeting my dietary requirements. I stayed in two rooms which were both spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and quiet so that I slept really well.

I found this guest house through a booking site and booked that way. The Proprietors (Jackie and Chris) were so welcoming when I arrived, standing at the door with a bottle of chilled water in hand. I had booked their disabled room as walking for me is currently difficult and climbing stairs near impossible. Ground floor room ready and waiting. Breakfast was of an excellent quality and plentiful even for my stomach. They made sure everything fitted perfectly with my itinerary for the event I was in settle for and gave excellent advice of where to eat for my evening meals. When I checked out I paid the bill (Most small establishments would insist payment on arrival). I left and got on the train and then discovered my travel tickets were not where I thought they were so a panicked call to the guest house, they bin surfed but were unable to find them but they were excellent in keeping me up to date. I will be returning again at some point to visit them again.

This is the third time we've stopped at this guest house. Chris and Jackie are really fantastic hosts. Nothing too much trouble for them to help you enjoy your stay. The guest house is situated in the ideal position in the centre of the town. Located next door to the talbot inn which is quiet at night outside. Ideal for walkers. Great base if your going to do the tree peaks. The rooms are lovely and clean with all appliances needed. Great choice of breakfasts to set you up for the day. All in all a great place to stop. A very popular guest house. Will always use this guest house whenever we stay in settle.

Excellent guest house with a lovely wheelchair accessible room on the ground floor. Very friendly and helpful owners who stored our unusual bikes and even pumped up our tyres. Perfect stay for the Way of the Roses. Breakfast was fantastic as well. I think we'll be back!

Excellent central Settle location. We are cycling the Way of the Roses and arrived soaked and with 3 bikes. Jackie could not have accommodated us more- dried our shoes, stored our bikes and warm radiator to dry our kit. Excellent friendly service and plentiful yummy breakfast . A gem of a BnB Thanks
