Carrholme Cottage

The most lovely stay in a warm and comfortable rural home. We stayed at Carrholme with 3 different families and found it very spacious and welcoming. Tastefully decorated, a well equipped and functional kitchen, with the most lovely aga! Both bedrooms and living spaces provided lots of options for the families, and plenty of room for kids to escape the grown ups! Despite it being November we loved the beautiful garden and the hot tub was the icing on the cake! Brilliant location, very rural but close to lovely pubs, amazing walking straight from the door and the gorgeous market town of Settle 5 minutes away. Host was very accommodating and responsive. Can’t wait to return!

Carrholme Cottage is a wonderful home from home. It is incredibly practical and comfortable. We’ve just enjoyed our third holiday there. Lianne is always very helpful.

We had a fantastic bank holiday weekend at Carrholme cottage, blessed by sunny weather. The accommodation and facilities were perfect - my parents (in their 80s) said it was the best holiday cottage we’ve ever stayed in as a family. We sat out every morning, used the hot tub, played games on the lawn, visited Settle & Malham Cove, walked from the cottage to Settle and to Stainforth falls. Thank you!

This is an outstanding house for a holiday. The kitchen is certainly the best we have had and we have stayed in lots of houses. The rooms and bathrooms are immaculately kept and the finish of the property is the highest of standards. We have had the sun this week so we have largely lived in the well maintained and huge garden or chilled out in the hot tub. This has been a special place where every day starts with a beautiful walk and every evening ends with a glass of wine and a cosy fire. Couldn't ask for more.

We had a fabulous family holiday at Carrholme Cottage! The cottage was gorgeous so homely and welcoming! Had a stunning garden where we could sit out and watch the kids play. Hot tube area so cosy and relaxing. Spent most nights in hot tube listening to the sheep, relaxing. Lianne was a great host and cottage cater for everyone one. The cottage is also set in beautiful surroundings with gorgeous walks on your door step. We will definitely be back again!
