Nothing to complain about here. Great fish and chips. Yes you have to wait if you want it fresh but it's never long. Good peas/curry sauce too. Haven't personally tried the homemade fish cakes but I'm told they're great. Prices very reasonable and portions large. Highly recommended.
Fantastic find. Freshly cut potatoes and battered cod. Super quality and flavour. The owner was helpful in relation to allergies and friendly in his nature. They made a big effort to make the space feel festive with a fine 6ft+ real Christmas tree!
Very friendly service. The fish and chips were all cooked freshly. Excellent crisp non greasy batter. I am not local but if I ever return to the area would definitely go to this chippy. Highly recommended.
We travel from Hyde in Manchester to this chippy, the food is excellent and the owner is very knowledgeable. Fantastic all-rounder, we are always very happy with everything.
Called in here tonight. Fabulous fish and chips. The chips are absolutely perfect and the cod cooked to perfection. As we live in Durham area it’s a little far to be our ‘local’ but we are happy to have had the opportunity to taste these brilliant fish and chips 😋
