Past its sell by date, but is in the process of being replaced by an updated all wheels park. This is a gorgeous area with walks around the park and out into the surrounding countryside and serviced by the wonderful Stocksbridge sports centre, swimming pool and cafe and the Inman pavilion which is used for various community events

Really great for the kids but the halfpipe has a bit of damage some rivets have popped loose making a step between the boards that will cause an accident if a skateboard wheel hits it. Other than that it is great fun

It's your fairly basic skate park layout nothing exciting. Just a back and forth run over a funbox with a selection of 3 different size quarters on one side, which is pointless, one huge one or something interesting would've been better. Square coping on the funbox, a big thumbs down for that. I've pretty much slated the park up to now but what gives this place it's 3 stars is the midi ramp and selection of practice rails. The midi is a good size, both height and width so even skilled skaters can give it a good session with adequate length to grind. Sweet little curved rail to mess around on, shame it's not a little longer The park is starting to look a bit tired and needs a bit of tlc. The structure is sound and the skatelite surface is ok but it's missing screws and edges are lifting and protruding in places.
