White Rose Holiday Park

Wow, all I can say is what a fantastic site and staff. I have been here for a few years now and love it, so much so that I have just upgraded to a new van on the new development and couldn't be happier. Scott, the manager is absolutely excellent and certainly does a good job. Yas, in the office is very efficient and looks after any queries I may have. Dan, Paul and Helen look after the grounds and are a fabulous maintenance team. They have all become like my family. I totally recommend you give this site a try. Linda Owen

Had a week in the new Hot tub cottages with my family! Loved it so much, my little girl loved the play park. The pub on the end is lovely and the team really looked after me! Will go back again.

Absolutely awful stay, I would not recommend. Turned up not given much information about the apartments or the site. Told keys in apartment. They weren't. Walked in dirty apartment crisp packets, tissues, old ear buds left in room. Dirty scum all on inside of the windows cobwebs all over. Not ideal with a 4 year old. Complained about it to reception. Hot tub rules followed by us however had a awful sewage smell and discoloured water, checked out early and reception told however dont not seem overall bothered. Followed up with a customer service email and they have poor customer services aswell, being told we never followed the rules for hot tub and money off next stay... no thaanks we will not be returning. Not sure what I was expecting. Would not recommend at all photos make the apartments look better then they are.

28.2 24 Stayed for the first time at White Rose. The cottage was spotless Hot tub was a nice change. It was extremely well maintained. Yasmin and the other staff we met on site were very welcoming, professional and attentive. The beds in the cottage very comfy. Plenty of space both in the cottage and garden. The garden was extremely secure for the dog. Fantastic location to explore beautiful places in North Yorkshire which we really enjoyed doing. Thankyou. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Me and my family recently stayed here, we had a lovely few days away but the customer service could do with improving. We arrived in the evening on a Sunday ( which they knew about ahead of time ) but when we arrived the number to call went straight to voicemail, no instructions on how to check in etc we had driven for 5 hours and at this moment thought we had no where to stay, my husband went to the pub next door to ask for help and they had the keys!! When we spoke to someone the next day they said “sorry I did leave note for them to call you” I do feel this wasn’t good enough as we were very stressed for a while. The cottages are lovely more purpose built houses than a cottage but well equipped, each one had its own outside space. The grounds were well maintained and the choice of indoor or outdoor pool was lovely. Again with checkout when I walked in no one really acknowledged me and when I said to check out a gentleman just pointed at a lady who was currently on the phone. My recommendation is just to be aware there isn’t a lot locally Thirsk is a 10 minute drive and York is about 30 minutes.
