Popped in today for lunch had delicious vegan bap with humus and roasted veg and a bowl of hearty home made vegetable soup. Was really delicious. The food other diners were having all looked beautifully presented and good portion sizes. Staff very friendly and efficient and facilities also very clean. Can highly recommend and would definitely return when next visiting thirsk.

We met our family and went here for refreshments. My husband was amazed at how much bacon he got in his sandwich…best ones he’s ever had!! Scone was delicious as were the other cakes. Love the traditional teacups & saucers. I’ve often walked past but never gone inside but will certainly visit again. Our daughter bought some Christmas gifts too.

As you come out of the James Herriot building walking towards the square this is the first Cafe you'll come to. You can't miss it on the corner and it's blue and white exterior. The shop is downstairs and the cafe is upstairs. There's a large menu for a small cafe with a lot of choice. I went for a Coronation chicken with mango that came with an onion Bhaji, crisps and fresh salad. Excellent value for £8. It took me a while to eat it all and it was very tasty. It was a really nice place with quick service and very good value for money.
