Iceland Supermarket Thornaby

Sam and John were so very helpful today in the Thornaby store. John rang around to find the product we were looking for and directed us to be able to get it that day. Thanks great service. 👍

Poor experience here today. So I shop and get to the checkout and no assistant on any of the 3 tills. I waited and another customer joined the queue. I was explaining to them that I didn't know which till to wait at when a voice came from the other side of the display saying they would just be a minute. So we waited...and waited...eventually she turned up didn't even acknowledge that we had waited (or even really acknowledge us, illustrated by the fact that she ignored us waiting and served another customer who barged past us). Disappointing level of service and to top it all the items bought on the 3 for £3 offer were charged at full price.

If I had a extra freezer I could shop here and have food to last week's that everybody loves. It has everything I need for 4 children and a vegan husband. I just wish I had more room to buy more. The prices are low and good for value.

Went in thornaby store today lots of three for two offers on . I got to the till to pay. someone said to me is this yours love it was my phone and I had £100 in the phone case I had dropped it on the floor but didn’t know I had . The lads name was Stuart I asked the lass that was serving me . well Stu, is a credit to you honest very pleasant couldn’t thank him enough I hope you tell him he’s a credit to you thanks again stuart

It was absolutely hectic people were queueing half way round the store with only one till on . You couldn't to the stock for the queue and there were no staff in sight. Stockton store definitely needs a new layout and more staff. Get your finger out at head office and sort it. It's the only decent food store on the high street utilize it. On the plus side the lady on the till was lovely and kept apologising to everyone
