Decent Store but Too Much Staff Interference I recently visited the Nike store at Teesside and was impressed by the brand and the store's location. I went in looking for trainers for myself and my son, as well as a tracksuit for my husband. The store had a great selection. However, my experience was negatively impacted by the constant staff interruptions. In the 15 minutes I spent there, I was approached more than six times with, "Alright? If you need anything, I’m here." While I understand that customer service is important, this level of interaction felt overwhelming and frustrating. Sometimes, customers just want to browse peacefully, knowing that help is available if needed. I ended up leaving without purchasing anything because I didn’t feel comfortable shopping at ease. My suggestion is to give customers a little more space—let us browse, and if we need help, we will ask. A welcoming environment is key, but too much interference can drive customers away.

Worst shop at Teesside Park to shop in as a customer and for how managers speak to staff. Coming from a retail background myself and as a customer I was appalled when I overheard misogynistic comments being made from older male managers (store manager Darren & assistant manager Andy) regarding teenage female members of staff. Staff follow you around and approach you 10+ times if you're okay and if you need any help, which is fine one or two times then it just becomes extremely irritating, unnecessary and makes you feel uneasy. Staff constantly look bored and unmotivated (probably due to terrible management as witnessed). They push you to sign up to a membership scheme which provides 0 benefits whatsoever as a customer. Stock is dull and overpriced- found much better stock and deals in JD/FootAsylum/Sports Direct. Not worth visiting unless you want to be followed around the store by teenaged staff members being told to act like security and being constantly badgered. Sort it out Nike, every single one of my shopping experiences have been abysmal to say the least. Treat your staff better then you may get your desired results 🙂👍🏻

I didn’t end up buying my running shoes here as I have a wide foot but Trey had great knowledge on what to look for online. He had great insight into which running shoe to buy for my needs and provided excellent customer service. Thanks for your help Trey!

Visited a couple of times over the past week. My eldest Son purchased some football boots and is very happy with them. Good price, too. My youngest Son went in independently yesterday to purchase a football and was happy with the experience. He said the staff member who assisted him was very nice to him. Quick service at tills. Parking directly outside, which I require.

Fantastic customer services came to Teesside Park store for a general look around. Me and my partner had a few items in our hands. Then one of the staff members came up to us called Rho said “ I love the trousers you have. There is a black pair on this rack for cheaper “ blowing my mind. It’s like this guy knew immediately our fashion sense. He managed to find me a full outfit my partner a full outfit and found my little boy a full tracksuit for less than £130. He took customer service to whole new level even showing us where we can find a £25 Nike gift card. And on paying for our items Rho was so friendly, if he carried on I would have gave him an invite to my wedding. Thank you for you service Bro fantastic salesman. I’ll be back if you’re working you know all the deals.
