Tingley Chinese

Iv had food from here before and its got flavour! but the prawns are well fishy and rubbery. The sauce was nice though and the veg! I didn’t like them but my dogs loved them

Usually order around 8 orders a year with this place and always been bang on but the last experience I had with this takeaway I can quite honestly say I would never go back unless something drastically changed. First off my order was over £50 for 2 special fried rice, bag of chips, 2 sweet and sour dishes and a mushroom dish. Price use to be half that but obviously cost of living and economy what can you do when wifey wants a Chinese, she getting one. So ordered online with over an hour and half to spare before I was on move again. Order was as soon as they opened knowing worst case scenario my meal would take 50 mins to an hour.. so we waited patiently, as I got email saying no later than 18:12 and I was going to be out of door at 18:40 to take my nephews to boxing training. 18:25 I ring them up and the answer from them was did you order from here.. I replied yes and gave my name and asked how long? Sorry sir we just got your order now.. like what? I been here waiting 1hr20 mins for my food and your saying you have issues with getting orders from your online website.. basically not checked. So I spent £50 and I am not getting to eat it as it comes but owell at least wife and all kids/ grandkids will get some and off I trot to boxing with nephews. So food arrives another 40 mins later with no apology or anything like they in right some how? Well on to the food, so my wife and that dished theirs out and left me plate on side.. so when I got in, wife says we tried ours and left you some on side but advise you not to eat it and if you going to try, don’t reheat it because I think that’s been reheated already.. overall to say it felt like the food had been warmed up from last night is a compliment. The mushroom were slimey, the meat was rock solid, prawns smelt off, prawn crackers were stale, rice was rock hard. I came home to most of fams meal in bin with mine to soon follow! What ever happened to the best Chinese in Tingley? I feel like you just stole £50 off me and then tried to poison me and my family? Thanks but no thanks, I will go elsewhere from now on hope others do too..

We no longer use this Chinese as they have put there prices up so so much it’s ridiculous. They added £10 to one of the meal deals. Menu is in the bin and we use china express at east ardsley which is amazing value for money and so much better. Tingley Chinese will not be open by the end of 2025 due to loss of customers for been greedy with prices

Wouldn’t order again! Beef curry tasted like fresh air( tasteless) Spare ribs were pure bone, chips drip white and the shocking portion of salt and pepper chicken wasn’t even chicken! What have I just eaten? Wasn’t good for my IBS

Absolutely disgusting!!! and I haven't even started on the food. We ordered from here after hearing it was under new management hoping the food has improved. We never found out whether the food has improved as our order never arrived. After waiting 30 minutes OVER the estimated delivery time we called to check how far along they were and assured us it was on its way. As we were only round the corner and another 10 minutes had passed we called back to check they had the correct address. They said they never received our order and that WE must have called another Chinese after speaking to them for the third time. What a joke, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!
