Freezers on full blast and I live on kirkgate, refused to exchange £1 ready meal when most likely was stacked incorrectly in veg section. If it was delivered it would be more than 5 minutes out of freezer, only box was thawed die to modern home freezers lies icey! Checked with thermometer mine was actually more frozen as my brother had ocd always has on maximum! I would have usually given it to a neighbor my girlfriend but it's not only beef

Abysmal visit into the store today. Upon arriving at the till with my basket, there was a lady with a child standing at the end of the checkout. I presumed she was the customer ahead of me, but she didn’t leave. After having my items scanned, I walked down and was unable to stand at the end of the checkout as she remained there. While packing my bags, I got to listen to a conversation she was having with 2 other employees (one of which was working the till) about who had “shagged” who, and if somebody was a “married man.” She was loud, and in the way with her child sat at the end of the till collection area. It was extremely unprofessional that the conversation wasn’t had elsewhere and she wasn’t asked to move out of the way of work/ customers trying to make a purchase.

Great supermarket. Love the Wakefield one. Went in the other day and got great help from one of the staff. Think he was called Sam? Said he’d just started and didn’t know much but managed to get me what I was looking for Please give him a pat on the back

I received an Iceland delivery today from this store, and I couldn’t believe what they had delivered! 50% of the food I received had only 1 day left on its sell by date. I received mince meat that was grey, strawberries covered in furry mould… I was nearly sick! I called to complain & the unbelievably rude manager told me they were allowed to sell me food so close to the sell by date, and refused to refund my money or replace the food! So disgusting! Will never order from here again.
