MKM Building Supplies Wakefield

Brilliant place. I entered as a lone female with no clue about DIY and asked about “those little stones that you put in your garden” the lad there was really helpful and took me to the decorative gravel (as I now know it to be called) ordering was easy and the price was the best I had found anywhere. The delivery guys made it as easy as possible by dropping the gravel off right next to the project I was working on. Really good service all round!

We had 2 deliveries of bulk bags of gravel, spoke to a lovely helpful girl Katie to order, she was polite, friendly and bubbly, which is a pleasant surprise these days! Carl was our delivery driver both times, again helpful friendly polite and went over and above when tipping it in our driveway. I hope MKM appreciate good employees, I believe (going on experience) employers appreciation keeps the good employees and lifts morale, and hopefully rubs off on the not so helpful team members. Went into MKM a few weeks back to have a look around as they had a bathroom/kitchen section and got greeted by a lovely lady called Katie Reid. Katie showed us around the showroom and then had a good chat with us about what we wanted and the options available through a mountain of online and catalogue choices. She came out to our house and measured up the bathroom to make sure everything we wanted would fit and then sent us a digital rendering of what we explained we'd like. It was amazing to see the design before going ahead. We then went back in to discus the final details and we placed our order and everything was with us in less than a week! The delivery guy dropped everything off and even helped me lift it into the house. There was no pushy sales chat just honest conversations about what would and wouldn't work. I've got to say the service was amazing and everything was just so spot on. Massive thanks to Katie and the guys at MKM.

Leaving a positive review as it was my first time visiting here. Exceptional service, staff very friendly and ready to help. I really liked how they come as ask you if you need help but without pushy sales pitches you get in some places. And the prices were very reasonable compared to other places. So, 5*s from me 👍🏼

Fantastic to deal with. Staff in store super helpful, walked us round the paving areas to discuss options, made a fuss of the kids which was a nice touch. Ordering process has been super simple each time. Delivery when expected & items placed where we needed. Overall cannot fault MKM Wakefield at all!
