Easy access from the motorway, plentiful parking with back to back spots, allowing me to fit with my trailer. Friendly staff, great breakfast buffet with great value. Room was clean, water pressure in the shower was great.

Stopped for 1 night whilst away on business. Friendly staff, really good food and an excellent breakfast. Bed was a little soft and room dated but overall a good stay.

The day after our arrival, we informed reception that the mattress provided for our son was not possible to sleep on, as the springs were protruding. As a result, my son had to sleep on the floor the first night. The mattress was not replaced, and we raised the issue again the next day. I then turned the mattress over myself, only to discover disturbing stains on the other side. We requested a replacement once more, but no action was taken. In the days that followed, our toilet became blocked. I informed reception this problem and was told that a plunger would be left in our room for us to deal with the issue ourselves. When we returned later that evening, no plunger had been provided. My husband had to find a stick outside to unblock the toilet. I contacted management twice a couple of weeks after our stay and received no reply

Heating is set on an annoying mode where it keeps turning off every few hours and if you don't manually turn it on, the rooms gets cold. Breakfast, No gluten free options on my day. Was casually told we’re out today. They don’t realise those who cant eat gluten have their breakfast all ruined because of this. For those who have dairy free milk (Soy, Oat) they refuse to let you heat your milk a little to put in your tea/coffee. No other hotel has a problem but they do. Apparently it’s against the rules but on some days, the cook does it; stayed two days, allowed on one, declined on another. Unprofessional staff, laughing out loud at reception while everyone is quietly having breakfast. The breakfast cook was wearing acrylic nails. Disgusting.

Came on Lomond Travel Tour to Polar Express. Arrived to be told dinner was 20 mins. Possibly the worst food ever at a hotel. Told the adults had taken kids food (obvs thats how bad it was ) yet staff were serving, so nothing for kids, had to buy kids food. After a long trip to Polar Express, I tried to get into bed, but someone had obviously slept in it before me. Sheets were crumpled, stained, vomit stains on the mattress, Im disabled so finding the filthy phone didn't work I had to trail down to reception, all closed up, couldn't even get a coffee whilst I waited. Offered a room with a broken toilet or a room that they hadn't checked.. obviously took the room they hadn't checked after they checked it to say it was ok. I went to the room and choked on air freshener failing to cover up someone had been smoking substances in the room. The smoke was also a bit of a giveaway. Another filthy broken phone, tramping down to reception, then asked to wait till they cleaned the air and changed the bedding. Myself and my 9yr old grandson did not get to bed till well after 1am, waiting in my daughter's room keeping everyone else up (3yrs/ 7yrs) till they could phone me on my mobile to tell me the room was ready as the filthy phones don't work. Even that room had dirt and hairs all over the bathroom and floor sticking to our feet. They asked me to send them photos, which I did. What have they done, absolutely nothing. No apology. No response. Disgusting place, avoid at all costs. I've stayed in Ramada before with no issues. This was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. The Police might want to pop in of an evening and walk the corridors. The smells are something to behold
