Went for a relative's performance and I have to say that the venue was very good and the facilities definitely accentuated the performance as a whole. It was difficult for some of the older guests to get from the entrance to the performance area since they had to climb a rather large staircase. I witnessed many physically struggle to get up because there was no other way to reach the top floor. Overall a great venue but be aware if you are bringing older family members that they may need a lot of help reaching the top floor.
Beautiful space for live performance. Should be used more!
A great place, a smaller theatre, is sometimes the best. Especially when you see your bro's play.
Great venue And excellent performances
Horrible learning environment! Tutors have clear favourites amongst the students, as the same ones are always featured in every show, while all others are just their ‘backup’. This is regardless of talent. A student I know was threatened that they would be “kicked off their course” for politely asking to leave the room for a breather due to mental health, yet they said another student could just storm out for the same reasons, and suffer no consequences. Students are told to “get over themselves” and “grow the hell up” by a tutors, in response to them having a mental illness. Students with difficulties such as dyslexia are just told that their work is of a poor standard and that they should do better, with no extra help offered, no matter how much they are struggling. Additionally, this department of the college fails to deal with bullying between students, and some tutors even join in with the taunts. I am appalled by the staff in this facility, who seem to believe that this is the way of the industry. Whether that is so or not, these students are still humans with feelings, and don’t deserve the bullying and discrimination they receive for not being ‘perfect’. Definitely won’t be sending my kids here after they finish high school next year!
