Newhill Tomb

Built in 1834 by John Payne a wealthy land owner, for his wife Sarah after she died, later John himself and 6 of their children were laid to rest with Sarah, Thomas Aldam Payne, their other child was buried in Sheffield. This grade 2 listed structure was built with a low wall and an iron fence surrounding it, the iron fence has now gone.
