Dexx Family Activity Centre

My son loves the skate park here. It has a separate beginners section as well as the more complex ramps. Good for most ages and skill levels to practice. It isn't the biggest but is good. Access also includes trampolines and mini golf.

Brilliant set up, kids absolutely love it. But from an adults point of view there's lots of room for improvement. All floors, chairs and tables very dirty. The food and drink prices need addressing. If people are being charged higher prices you'd expect to have higher quality food and drink. Nearly £4 for one portion of Aldi skin on fries, nearly £4 for a mocha coffee which in some places is worth it but using an Alcafe Sachet from a mutlipack that cost less than £1.50 for 8 and just adding water is not a £4 coffee. Will not be eating or drinking here again. Can't bring your own food or drink for the kids ether. Would be 5 star if these things were addressed

The kids love this place. After all that's what is most important. Would advise checking opening times before going. There's a good sized single level trampoline park, a fun sized mini golf area and an indoor scooter park at the back (it's good to know there are multiple access points for different levels of ability). Make sure you bring a helmet (maybe knee pads and gloves as well). I like the cafe, the coffee is always nice and the menu is varied and well priced. There's plenty of seating and tables throughout the building, there are toilets and parking. It does get cold in the building but that's only if you're sat around which i don't see as a problem because the kids are active and get boiling hot from burning off excess energy. For what that place is, we love it and recommend bringing a big coat, a good book and 💷. I recommend it to anyone looking for something a little bit different, even if you only go once. If your kids are slightly more experienced or confident one hour isn't generally enough. I'd recommend going for 2 hours plus.

Brilliant place for all ages. Both my son, daughter and their friends visit weekly and they have a brilliant time from start to finish. Great place for teen's to hang out. This place offers a variety of thing to do all included in one price, from Mini golf, trampolines and a indoor skate park. They also have a cafe which offers a variety of food, drinks and snacks. The staff are friendly and always look out for the kids and deal with any disruption promptly.
