Visited today, NYE mid afternoon. Think they were short staffed. We ate in because it was freezing and the kids needed feeding. We had what they had, a random assortment of pasties, fine. They didn’t seem to be well organised and the seating areas were awful, messy, tables covered in mess, litter, food and spillages. I don’t have words for their toilets, I appreciate it’s super difficult as everyone treats them like a public toilet which is unfair. Hopefully caught them on a bad day.

Dissapointing visit, decided to eat in but the store was not welcoming. Tables were not cleared and not wiped clean. Chairs were not particularly clean either and the floor could have benefited from a sweep. We struggled to find a clean table to sit at. There seemed to be plenty of staff but nobody had the initiative to clear and wipe down the tables. We probably won't visit again.

I travel often and always look for a Greggs to guarantee quality food and value for money.. The Food and service is always of a high standard . But Greggs staff in Whitby go the extra mile regarding customer care. The staff offer a high level of customer care along side a high level of service delivery. Congratulations to Greggs for employing such high quality staff across the service outlets, but if you are in Whitby , pop in to Greggs and experience a service delivery which is rather special.

A nice spot to take the weight off. Ample seating, extensive windows make it light and bright inside. Staff were polite and it was kept nicely clean inside.

Great food fresh and can get quite busy at times I have only rated it 4 stars because staff don't seem to friendly towards people they could do with more training how to treat customers better when you are friendly towards them and have a conversation they are really not bothered In talking to customers and I don't know if it's me but I feel like staff should wear gloves when they prepare sandwiches or baguettes because they are touching all sorts then touching the food I think a more hygienic approach would be better
