Asda Living Barnsley

The woman on the till had a real attitude. No hot food available, disgusting/dirty seating area ! I asked for a refund and she didn't even ask for me to present my card so I don't think she knew how to refund . I will NOT be visiting again . One star is too many. Who ever is managing this café are clearly not ordering stock in or doing a general clean of the place .

I bought a Christmas tree on the 29th November I put it up the week before Christmas, Christmas day it fell down, due to an insubstantial base. I tried to return it today but was told I should have returned it the day it happened (Christmas day) pretty sure their closed Christmas day. I haven't had the opportunity to take it back until today, due to personal reasons. I was told as I'd had it longer than 28 days I couldn't return it even though it's faulty. Terrible customer service. I've since looked on the Asda website and it states that faulty items can be returned up to one year after purchase. So the manager doesn't know their returns policy!

Nothing to do with Asda, but had two Amazon gift cards from this store and both had some of the voucher code cut out. Luckily I was able to redeem after a conversation with Amazon, but to make people aware, I would avoid buying gift cards from this store, as both had the same issue.

Two photos of the cafe area, if this is what the public area looks like I’d hate to see the kitchen! They also didn’t have what I ordered and there was a long wait. How this is 5 star hygiene rated is beyond me. Don’t bother visiting! Gone down hill!

Called into just exchange something I bought. So now you have to Queue along with all the others who are buying numerous things there’s no separate till?? Ridiculous when was considering an exchange only- but not queuing TWICE for 1 item behind 15 other people?!
