The Habit Cafe Bar

Found this place by accident. Lovely little cafe bar. Welcoming staff, good service, nice food and decent price...5 meals and drinks for £80. Will visit again in the spring/summer to enjoy the roof top terrace.

Great spot, open mic night is especially good. Chilled crowd and amazing staff. Place was hopping and one bar staff on their own excelled in circumstances where I have seen a crew of several fail. If downstairs seems jammed, push on through to upstairs. Plenty of seating and you come still hear the music, maybe even better!

Called here for a drink as had been told of the roof top seating area. It was nice. I wasn’t blown away as it though as could have done with a clean/ spruce up! You could see the Minster over the wall. Bar staff very friendly. Overall nice to sit out and up.

Came here because the.place we were looking for was closed. I am happy to say it was a much better choice. The staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing, perfect for a sunny day 😎 👌

Love coming here on a sunny day in their sun trap terrace. Been a while since we've been and noticed the view of the minster is slightly covered by a new structure but still a fabulous place to enjoy a beer in York! Friendly staff and great selection of drinks. Need to come back and try the food.
