Facilities Coordinator
<p><strong>Temporary Maintenance & Cleaning Operative</strong></p> <p><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> £13.45 per hour<br /><strong>Contract:</strong> Temporary (Minimum 6 Weeks)<br /><strong>Hours:</strong> Up to 37.5 hours per week</p> <p>We are seeking a reliable and flexible Temporary Maintenance & Cleaning Operative to provide cover for holidays, sickness, and other staffing requirements.</p> <p>This is a hands-on role involving a variety of outdoor cleaning and general maintenance duties to ensure public areas are kept clean, safe, and well-presented.</p> <p><strong>Key Duties:</strong></p> <ul> <li>General maintenance and upkeep of outdoor areas</li><li>Outdoor cleaning and litter removal</li><li>Setting out and managing waste bins</li><li>Maintaining cleanliness across designated sites</li><li>Responding to cleaning requirements as they arise</li><li>Cleaning and removal of bodily fluids, including vomit, in line with health and safety procedures</li></ul> <p><strong>Working Hours:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Up to 37.5 hours per week</li><li>Typical shifts are: <ul> <li>11-hour shifts (including a 1-hour unpaid break)</li><li>8-hour shifts (including a 30-minute unpaid break)</li></ul> </li></ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Reliable, punctual, and flexible</li><li>Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions</li><li>Able to carry out physically demanding duties</li><li>Previous cleaning or maintenance experience is desirable but not essential</li><li>Awareness of health and safety practices is advantageous</li></ul> <p>This temporary position is expected to last for a minimum of 6 weeks, with the possibility of an extension for the right candidate</p> <p>Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
