<p><strong>JR311 - Trainee Field Engineer (Refrigeration)</strong><br /><strong>Location: Covering Yorkshire </strong><br /><strong>Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 Per Annum + Company vehicle</strong><br /><strong>Working Hours: Monday - Friday - 40 hour working week.<br /><br /></strong><strong>Overview:</strong><br /><br />First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer on behalf of the UK’s largest manufacturer of medical & scientific refrigeration. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join a well established company with an excellent opportunity of career advancement.<br /><br />You will be responsible for the maintenance, UKAS calibration, and repair of medical refrigeration equipment, including: Pharmacy fridges and freezers, Blood fridges, Plasma freezers, Monitoring systems.<br /><br /><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of medical and laboratory refrigeration equipment.</li><li>Work independently and efficiently while representing the company professionally.</li><li>Accurately record work completed, travel and labour times, and expenses, submitting job reports daily.</li><li>Maintain company-provided van, tools, stock levels, and equipment in line with company policy.</li><li>Plan and prioritise work based on office scheduling, raising any potential delays early.</li><li>Ensure confidentiality on all customer sites, following GDPR principles.</li></ul> <p><strong>Skills and Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The ideal candidate should be based in Yorkshire, to predominantly cover Yorkshire and the Northeast area (M1, M62 corridor)</li><li>Full UK driving licence – essential.</li><li>Self-motivated, well organised, and able to work independently.</li><li>Previous field service experience desirable (but not essential).</li><li>F-Gas qualification desirable (but not essential).</li><li>Strong communication skills with neat and accurate handwriting.</li><li>Basic English, Maths and IT skills are required.</li></ul> <p><strong>In return, the client offers:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Overtime opportunities (once trained).</li><li>Bonus Scheme (up to £250 a month)</li><li>Full training & qualifications provided</li><li>Company van, mobile phone, tablet, uniform, and all tools provided.</li><li>Private health cover after 12 months’ service.</li><li>Auto-enrolment pension scheme.</li></ul> <p><strong>JR311 - Trainee Field Engineer (Refrigeration)</strong><br /><strong>Location: Covering Yorkshire</strong><br /><strong>Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 Per Annum + Company vehicle</strong><br /><strong>Working Hours: Monday - Friday - 40 hour working week.</strong></p>
