Johnny and Jenny await to welcome you to our beautiful home situated a short walk from Richmond and yet surrounded by the most beautiful countryside of the Yorkshire Dales. Richmond is a magical place with lots to explore. There is a lot going on and it boasts a magnificent ancient castle, The Georgian Theatre, The Green Howards Museum and the mighty river Swale and falls among other attractions. You will find many independent shops, pubs, cafes and a good selection of restaurants to suit a variety of tastes. It is also conveniently situated as a stopping off point on the Coast to Coast walk.

BnB at 43 offers three gorgeous rooms with high quality beds, mattresses and pillows. They are all en suite with deep roll top baths. Our comfortable and inviting guest lounge/dining room is available for guests to relax in throughout their stay too. It has a Blu-Ray player, games, reading material, maps and a lovely soft sofa in it.

We offer an excellent Yorkshire breakfast with other choices to suit every palate and requirement. Jenny is Coeliac and understands concerns surrounding food, especially while eating away from home. She will ensure nobody misses out and that everyone is catered for. She is happy to provide packed lunches on request too. Please advise her of any food allergies or intolerances on booking.

We have check in/check out times and breakfast times of course, but we can be flexible with prior notice on booking to suit your needs as best we can. We will do our best to accommodate everyone, but Richmond is quite hilly and our house has steps up to it and our rooms are all upstairs on the middle floor. This may make it difficult for some people who have mobility issues, however, the stairs are wide and not too steep, but do feel free to chat about this on booking if necessary. Unfortunately, we are not set up to accommodate dogs. Free parking is available on the road at the front, but we can provide parking spaces at the rear of the house if necessary, along with secure lock up for bicycles and motorbikes. We can also dry kit overnight.
