Ibis York Centre

Lovely clean, newly renovated hotel. We stayed in a family room which had 4 large single beds, perfect for a family, we all had plenty of room and space. Staff were lovely, professional and happy. Breakfast had everything we needed and filled 4 tummy's for a day exploring York. Location was spot on with everything in walking distance. Would definitely stay here again

The rooms were great — they felt newly refurbished and the space was just right. Overall, very comfortable with only two minor issues: • Staff – The staff didn’t appear very friendly compared to other Ibis hotels I’ve stayed at. They were alright, but a warmer tone or a smile would’ve made the experience more welcoming. • Hot shower – Visiting during winter, I expected a hotter shower, but it was only mildly warm and not quite enough to beat the cold.

Stayed 7 previous new years Recent refurbishment means double amount of rooms Therefore much smaller than previously. Ok for a very short stay Showers rubbish no pressure or hot water available 🤔 Got to arrive very early to booking in time to purchase a car parking space (if required) Only about 19 spaces for over 300 rooms Nearest public parking is on nunnery lane £26 for overnight parking (stayed 3 nights) Breakfast good plenty of choice and hot food

Good value for money. Excellent location just a 10 mins walk to the centre. Parking is a 1st come 1st served basis and there is only 20 spaces. Parking is not free but discounted for guests £15 for 24 hrs. Spaces in car park are tight though small if u have a big car. Great breakfast selection buffet style. Staff friendly and helpful too. One downside is only 1 pillow each and dressing table doesnt have a mirror beside it.

Absolutely flawless! We have celebrated our 20th anniversary by staying overnight in York. The IBIS was perfect! Central location, clean, comfortable, surprisingly spacious and well equipped rooms! Excellent, friendly and attentive staff! Gorgeous breakfast! 😍 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ thank you so much!
